Orientation Dates

The available orientation dates are listed below. Attendance at both sessions is required to begin the volunteering process at Memorial Hospital, but you may choose which time you attend each session. (No RSVP is required, just attendance at both sessions, spaced two days apart). The minimum age requirement to volunteer at Memorial Hospital is 18. We do offer TB Testing at no charge to potential ambassadors (volunteers) during the break of Session I in each orientation. When you return two days later for Session II, your TB Test will be read.  (If you miss Session II of orientation, you will be charged if you need a second or make-up TB Test.)  

Please note, all new ambassador orientations for 2011 have already occurred. 

2012 Orientation Dates ~

Jan. 30: Session I: Noon – 2 p.m. OR 6 – 8 p.m. in the Hospital Auditorium

Feb 1: Session II: Noon – 2 p.m. OR 6 – 8 p.m. in the Hospital Auditorium

June 4: Session I: Noon – 2 p.m. OR 6 – 8 p.m. in the Hospital Auditorium

June 6: Session II: Noon – 2 p.m. OR 6 – 8 p.m. in the Hospital Auditorium

For sessions located in the Hospital Auditorium or the Epworth Room, please park in the Bartlett Garage, enter through the front lobby of the hospital and follow the signs. Bring your parking ticket with you to the orientation sessions as we will happily validate the ticket so you do not have to pay for parking during orientation. Remember, no RSVP is required, but we do ask that you arrive on time.
