Mini-Medical University for Teens

Mini-Medical University for Teens

For the fourth year in a row, Memorial Hospital’s Ambassador Services Department plans to offer a one-of-a-kind learning experience for high school students 15-18 who have an interest in medicine. This action-packed, hands-on experience will include lectures from clinicians in specialty areas, labs, exposure to a clinical unit and service within Memorial. Mini-Medical University 101 is a full-day, weeklong experience.

Mini-Medical University for Teens was held for the first time in the summer of 2009. The pilot program proved a huge success, resulting in a long waiting list for the 2010. Class sizes were limited to ensure an exceptional learning experience. This fantastic opportunity was offered again in the summer of 2011. At this time, we do plan to offer Mini Medical University 101 in the summer of 2012.
